Keyboard Control

CTRL+SHIFT+F = Change the font

CTRL + SHIFT + P = Change the font size

CTRL + SHIFT + > = Increase the font size

CTRL + SHIFT + < = Decrease the font size

SHIFT + RIGHT ARROW = One character to the right

SHIFT + LEFT ARROW = One character to the left

CTRL + SHIFT + RIGHT ARROW = To the end of a word

CTRL + SHIFT + LEFT ARROW = To the beginning of a word

SHIFT + UP ARROW = One line up

SHIFT + DOWN ARROW = One line down

ESC = An object (with text selected inside the object)

TAB or SHIFT + TAB until the object you want is selected = An object (with an object selected)

ENTER = Text within an object

CTRL + A (in the slide pane) = All objects

CTRL + A (in slide sorter view) = All slides

CTRL + A (in the outline pane) = All text

F10 = Make the menu bar active

CTRL + TAB = Select the next toolbar

CTRL + SHIFT + TAB = Select the previous toolbar

TAB or SHIFT + TAB = Select the next or previous button or menu on the active toolbar

ENTER = Open the selected menu; perform the action assigned to selected button; enter text in the selected text box; select an option in a list box or on a menu

ENTER = Enter text in the selected text box

Arrow keys = Move through options in a list box or on a menu

ALT + 1 = Go to the previous folder

ALT + 2 = Open the folder up one level from the open folder

ALT + 3 = Open your world wide web search

ALT + 4 = Delet the selected folder or file

ALT + 5 = Create a new subfolder in the open folder

ALT + 6 = Switch between list, Details, Properties, and Preview views

ALT + 7 = Show the Tools menu ( Tools button)

ALT + TAB = Switch to the next program

ALT + SHIFT + TAB = Switch to the previous program

CTRL + ESC = Display the Windows Start menu

CTRL + W = Close the active presentation window

CTRL + F5 = Restore the active presentation window

CTRL + F6 = Switch to the next presentation window

CTRL + SHIFT + F6 = Switch to the previous presentation window

SHIFT + F6 = Switch to the next window pane in the counterclockwise direction

ALT, LEFT ARROW, DOWN ARROW, P to select the splits, arrow keys to position the split, the ENTER = Move the window pane split in a maximized presentation window

ALT,HYPHEN, P to select the splits, arrow keys to position the split, then Enter = Move the window pane split in a presentation window that is not maximized

CTRL + F8 = Carry out the Size command (Presentation icon menu, menu bar)

CTRL + F9 = Minimize the presentation window

CTRL + F10 = Maximize the presentation window

CTRL + N = Create a new presentation

CTRL + M = Insert a new slide

CTRL + D = Make a copx of the selected slide

CTRL + O = Open a presentation

CTRL + W = Close a presentation

CTRL + P = Print a presentation

CTRL + S = Save a presentation

F5 = Run a presentation

ALT + F4 = Quit PowerPoint

CTRL + F = Find text

CTRL + H = Replace text

CTRL + K = Insert a hyperlink

F7 = Check spelling

ESC = Cancel a menu or dialog box action

CTRL + Z = Undo an action

CTRL + Y = Redo or repeat an action

CTRL + DELETE = Delete one word to the right

CTRL + X = Cut selected object

CTRL + C = Copy selected object

CTRL + V = Paste cut or copied object
